Take two: highlights of the 17th European Lead Battery Conference
The 17th ELBC brought together battery manufacturers, suppliers, and analysts to discuss the future for lead batteries worldwide.
With almost 600 delegates the event was co-organized by the International Lead Association and the Consortium for Battery Innovation, and was the first ever virtual event, with conference sessions broadcast live from studios in Germany and London.
In the first battery event following the global pandemic the decision to move ELBC online helped ensure the event’s reputation as a scientifically and technically rich conference. ELBC has always been the forum for technical debate, market discussion and networking for the global lead battery industry, and feedback from delegates confirmed the conference’s place as the premier technical forum.
The conference included a wide range of topics relevant to the industry together with a diverse speaker line-up including industry leaders, researchers, market analysts and more. The live and online format of ELBC featured pre-recorded summaries for each session, followed by a live panel discussion chaired by battery experts.
