Four key themes at 19th International Lead Conference, April 2015

Published by [email protected] 21st January, 2015

With the early bird rate deadline (20 February) fast approaching for the 19th International Lead Conference (Pb2015) ILA Managing Director, Dr Andy Bush, has identified four key themes.

By [email protected]

Dr Bush said: “Significant developments are happening within the lead industry and ILA, as its global organisation, is adapting to meet these needs. Pb2015 provides a vital forum for the industry to come together to discuss the future and find out more about how ILA will be supporting the industry in the future.

“The keynote speech by Ray Kubis (Managing Director, EcoBat Technologies), will set the scene and reflect on the exciting and challenging times that lie ahead for lead.”

Pb2015 (Lisbon, 22-24 April) will then focus on four key themes:

Markets:  Leading market experts and suppliers will analyse the latest developments and give their take on future prospects.

Sustainability: Listen and debate how lead’s strong sustainability credentials are being assessed and communicated, and what else the industry must do to enhance its reputation.

Communications: A dedicated session that will explore how effective communications can help individual companies and the industry as a whole to improve awareness of the benefits of lead and the crucial part it plays in a modern economy.

Regulation: Learn more about how changing regulations worldwide will impact your company and what is being done to address the threats.

Dr Bush added: “Pb2015 is the only global lead conference organised by the lead industry and run exclusively for its benefit.  We hope you will join us in Lisbon and support the International Lead Association.”
