Gravita India Joins ILA
The Jaipur-based lead smelting operations of India’s largest secondary lead producing companies, Gravita India, has joined the ILA.
The business, founded in 1992 and headquartered in Rajasthan, recycles used lead batteries and aluminium scrap to produce a range of quality metals and metal alloys, together with a range of plastic by-products.
Dr Andy Bush, Managing Director of the ILA welcomed the company into membership: “We’re delighted to welcome the Jaipur arm of Gravita into membership, the first Indian business to join the ILA. The company has established itself as an important recycling and secondary lead producing business in Asia, Africa and American continents and we look forward to working with them.”
Rajat Agarwal, the Managing Director of Gravita said: “We’re an ambitious and growing business, with international interests and we are keen to work with lead-producers worldwide through our membership of the ILA.”End
