Lead battery consortium lists achievements of three year research programme 2013-15
The Advanced Lead Acid Battery Consortium (ALABC) has published a factsheet on the benefits to industry of its three-year research programme 2013-15. The 2013-15 ALABC programme has produced what may be some of the most ground-breaking results related to advanced lead-acid battery technology in some time. This includes:
- Cost-effective hybrid electric vehicle solutions for car manufacturers
- Significant improvement and life extension of batteries for photovoltaic systems used in renewable energy.
- A new understanding of carbon additives for lead batteries
