Register now for 13ELBC

Published by [email protected] 1st May, 2012

Registration has opened for the 13th European Lead Battery Conference (13ELBC) and exhibition, which is being held at the Marriott Rive Gauche Hotel and Conference Centre in Paris from the 25-28 September 2012.
Visit www.ila-lead.org for information about the conference programme, fees and how to register. For information about the exhibition and to reserve space, please contact Allan Cooper at the Conference Secretariat.
A fee discount is available to anyone who registers before 16 June 2012 and delegates are given three registration and payment options:
• On-line with payment by Credit Card: Mastercard or Visa
• Pay locally online in your own currency via Exhibition Payments here, a service provided by The Taxback Group. This approach incurs no fees and a better exchange rate is guaranteed. Delegates must register online to use this payment method.
• Downloading the registration form and paying by bank transfer to ILA.
13ELBC will start with a reception on the evening of Tuesday 25 September and will end at around 14.30 on Friday 28 September. On-site registration will begin at 11.00 on Tuesday 25 September.
Prior to the conference, on the afternoon of Tuesday 25 September, there will be a special Technical Workshop to discuss Dynamic Charge Acceptance.
This is in recognition of the extreme importance of this parameter in stop and start automotive battery applications. There will be four short presentations to introduce the key issues by Eckhard Karden, Eberhard Meissner, Heide Budde-Meiwes and Lan Lam, followed by an open discussion chaired by Geoffrey May.
The Dynamic Charge Acceptance Workshop will be limited in numbers, and places will be allocated to the first 100 applicants. A nominal attendance fee of €100 will be charged.
