Registration is open for ELBC in Milan
- Benefit from early bird rates until May 22
- Book early amid high demand for hotel rooms in Milan
Registration has opened for this year’s premier global technical lead battery conference ELBC, which takes place in Milan between 16-19 September.
The event, which starts on Monday September 16, takes place at the Mico Convention Center in the heart of the Italian city’s industrial and cultural quarter.
ELBC includes all the latest updates on global lead battery innovation from automotive to energy storage applications plus batteries for motive power, industrial and micro-mobility.
This year two key workshops precede the main conference. A workshop will discuss current and future use of lead batteries in energy storage in different regions of the world, and a much-anticipated briefing on the EU’s batteries regulation will consider its implications for the global battery industry.
With keynote and technical speakers from across the global lead battery industry, ELBC’s programme includes the latest updates on:
- Lead and lead battery market forecasts
- In-depth analysis of lead battery trends in the U.S., Europe and Asia
- And all the latest advances in lead battery research and technology
Jointly organised by the International Lead Associations and the Consortium for Battery Innovation, ELBC includes a wide range of networking and engagement opportunities including a gala reception celebrating Italian cuisine and culture.
Dr Andy Bush, Executive Director of ILA said: “ELBC is always a much-anticipated event, organised by the industry for the industry. It’s a distinctive opportunity for the global lead battery value chain, from manufacturers to suppliers, to meet and discuss current issues and market trends affecting the industry. Our programme includes well-known contributors bringing all the latest data and updates on global markets and technical trends as well as workshops looking in-depth at important industry issues.
“As always there will be many networking events and opportunities, including our gala Italian evening inspired by the fabulous city of Milan.”
Dr Alistair Davidson, Executive Director of CBI, added: “There have been many important technical developments in lead battery research which will be presented and discussed at ELBC, including exciting opportunities for battery energy storage as global demand for electrification continues to grow. We will be exploring all the relevant issues and identifying where advanced lead batteries can make a difference as market opportunities continue to expand.”
ELBC event organiser Mai Pound from ILA said: “Delegates who register now can take advantage of generous early bird rates.”
She added: “Hotel space in Milan is in high demand in September and I would urge delegates and attendees to book early to secure rooms.”
The ELBC expo is now sold out. However, a few sponsorship opportunities remain available, please contact the Conference Secretariat.
