Registration opens for Pb2023, the International Lead Conference
After a four-year break, Pb2023 the International Lead Conference is back in person, taking place in the Greek capital, Athens, June 21-23.
Registration is now open for the event, which brings together the global lead value chain to assess critical issues affecting the industry.
The programme includes an in-depth assessment of global markets for the lead and lead battery industries, together with a comprehensive update on regulatory developments.
And with occupational exposure limits the subject of current debate in Europe and the US, a pre-conference workshop on lead exposure management will provide updates on exposure controls, with practical demonstrations and best practice presentations.
The conference will examine the latest developments in research and innovation, including a session on material stewardship as well as providing extensive networking opportunities.
Dr Andy Bush, Managing Director of ILA, the event organiser, said: “We have a packed programme for Pb2023, and given how much is happening across the lead value chain globally, it’s great to be getting back together in person. The market analysis will provide a fascinating deep dive into the current situation and opportunities for lead, while the regulatory session surveys the complex global landscape faced by the industry. Above all we will have the opportunity to network and discuss all the key issues impacting the industry in the short and longer term.”
Confirmed speakers include market updates from Natalie Scott-Gray of Stone X and Christophe Pillot of Avicenne Energy and a keynote state-of-the-industry address from Ecobat’s Chief Operating Officer, Thea Soule.
The event takes place June 21-23 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Athens.
